A Mix of Old West Adventure and Cosmopolitan Style
In the Valley of the Sun – locals simply call it “The
Valley” – the sun actually shines at about 325
days a year. Amid the Sonoran Desert, the greater Phoenix
area covers 2,000 square miles, where cacti and stunning mountain
peaks share the landscape with a myriad of lavish resorts,
lush golf courses with spectacular scenery, professional sports
venues, culture-rich museums and a pulsating nightlife scene.

More than a decade has passed since the nation’s fifth
largest city, where 3.4 million residents in the metropolitan
area treasure a mix of the Old West and the cosmopolitan lifestyle,
hosted a Super Bowl. In 1996, Dallas defeated Pittsburgh,
27-17 in Super Bowl XXX at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe.
